Garmin Alpha 200 IK Handheld Only

The Alpha 200i K can track up to 20 dogs. Communication between the collar and handheld device is via radio. The radio frequency used is free to use in Germany and does not require registration or fees. The tracking range depends on the terrain and is up to 10 km with an update rate of up to 5 seconds. The buttons above the display can be used to trigger a sound, vibration, or flashing LED on the K5 collar. The KT 15 collar also allows you to trigger a adjustable stimulation pulse (remote trainer function). New features of the Alpha 200i K: A 3.5-inch touchscreen and additional function buttons offer even better usability than the Atemos 100. A pre-installed Topo Active map of Europe provides significantly more detail than the leisure map on Atemos devices. The map is updated regularly. Updates are free of charge! The 3-axis compass and barometric altimeter ensure even more accurate location results. The GPS position is now determined via GPS and Galileo. In addition to the ANT+ interface, the Alpha 200i K now also has a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interface. This opens up completely new possibilities for connectivity with your smartphone and home network. BirdsEye aerial imagery of the desired area can be downloaded via Wi-Fi. BirdsEye is now permanently free to use! The Garmin Explore Mobile app allows you to check activities and edit waypoints directly from your mobile phone. BirdsEye maps can also be downloaded directly to the device via your home Wi-Fi without having to connect it to a PC. Longer battery life for the handheld device (up to 20 hours) Optional extra: inReach technology! The handheld device can communicate worldwide via the Iridium satellite network, even in the most inaccessible terrain, or trigger an SOS emergency call in an emergency. What is inReach inReach technology features global two-way communication and an SOS emergency button. Thanks to the Iridium satellite network, messages can be sent and received independently of the mobile network. LiveTrack also allows you to share your current tour with friends in real time. In an emergency, the SOS button can be used to send an emergency call to the international search and rescue coordination center GEOS, which coordinates the rescue. Garmin offers various subscription models for this added safety feature (see graphic). The inReach technology is an option. All dog tracking functions also work without a subscription.
